  • Frank Relle’s Gallery – Frank is a New Orleans-based photographer known for long-exposure nightscapes of the city he loves. He’s getting recognition beyond the Crescent City, having been written up in the New York Times and showing his work in Russia. (And, yes, doesn’t hurt to have locals Mr. Pitt and Ms. Jolie collect your work.) Frank’s a friend and integral to our story.
  • Bevelo Gas and Electric Lights Store – Many of the gas lanterns you’ll see throughout the French Quarter come from this shop. Make sure to visit the workshop at the back of Bevelo’s location at 316 Royal Street to chat with the lantern-makers.
  • City Park – This park is one of the largest, oldest and most-visited urban public parks in the United States. It’s 50% larger than Central Park and is home to world’s largest collection of mature live oak trees, some older than 600 years in age. Shaun proposed to Sasha under one of them across the street from Ralph’s on the Park.
  • Audubon Park – Located in the Uptown neighborhood of New Olreans, this park has a lot of attractions, including golf, tennis, a zoo, and acquarium.
  • Bayou tours, such as Cajun Encounters – Keep an eye out for the wildlife, or it’s later alligator!
  • Moonwalk along Mississippi – A must-do! Named for mayor Maurice “Moon” Landrieu, this promenade along the Mississippi is a perfect stretch to kick back, lunch on a muffeletta from nearby Central Grocery, or stroll from end to end. Surreal at sunrise.
  • Rock n Bowl – Listen or dance to Zydeco between strikes or spares!
  • Dirty Coast / Fleurty Girl – These stores offer New Orlean-specifc gear for locals and tourists alike.
  • New Orleans Pelicans game – By this time they’ll forget that the Golden State Warriors swept them in the first round of the playoffs! Get tickets to watch Anthony “The Brow” Davis, future hall of famer!
